A medical center and salon work together to provide discounted or free wigs to people with cancer:

"Beth Ireland and the stylists at her Lancaster-based salon love to put smiles on the faces of their clients -- especially those clients who just want to look pretty at a difficult time in their lives.

However, during the past four months, the stylists have noticed more smiles -- and tears of joy -- then usual.

The reason? They're helping local cancer patients reclaim the hair and confidence that chemotherapy recently has taken away from them."
