Odds are, you do. Latest studies show that a majority of cancer patients use some form of CAM, or complementary medicine. Increasingly, alternative treatments are now being seen as integrative, and are integrated with traditional, or allopathic medical care. For example, yoga or a vegetarian diet might be integrated with chemotherapy.

More studies are being done demonstrating the value of good nutrition combined with physical exercise/movement and stress reduction (yoga, meditation, etc.). I am a survivor of lymphoma. I now eat raw and vegan foods in an effort to stay healthy. There are some who even use raw food cancer treatment as a gentler alternative to traditional cancer treatment.
