New Book on Lymphoma Diagnosis Methods

Humana Press has a new book out and I have had a chance to review it. Lymphoma: Methods and Protocols, edited by Illidge & Johnson is not a book for patients, but rather for medical professionals looking into cutting edge diagnostic methods.

There is some good info also for you & me. While genetic microarrays are not now widely in use (even though they got alot of press awhile back), they predict they soon will be - this may be accelerated by what I read about DNA printing so arrays can be made very cheaply. Another observation is that typing certain lymphomas with chromosomal translocations may lead to more effective treatments for those patients.

If you're a doc or clinician, this is a keeper.
