World's Largest Chinese Whisper Chain for Lymphoma

746 people from around the world made history today by uniting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest "Chinese whisper" chain - a record that previously stood at 718 people. With the aim of raising awareness of lymphoma, participants from 59 countries stood side-by-side to pass the message that "there is new hope for lymphoma patients". The record coincided with the 9th International Conference of Malignant Lymphoma (ICML) being held this week in Lugano, Switzerland.

Adam Morris, an ex-pro footballer and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma survivor who participated in the event, said, "I am privileged to have been part of this historical event. I hope my contribution and that of the other participants raises awareness of this disease and provides new hope for the management of lymphoma. If, as a result of this event, we help reach the hundreds of thousands of lymphoma patients to let them know that there are treatments that really work, we will have achieved our goal." News Release
