Red Cross Offers Caregiving Guide

The American Red Cross is offering a guide and a DVD to help families deal with the challenges of caring for a loved one who has a long-term illness or limited mobility. Family Caregiving is a quick reference guide with a companion DVD designed to assist caregivers by providing the best medical, nutritional and financial care. Among the topics covered are basic caregiving skills, home safety, healthy meal planning, and dealing with financial and legal issues. The guide also includes charts for recording vital signs and medications, as well as an emergency contact card.
