Star Launches Teen Cancer Website

Australian popstar Delta Goodrem, noted in a previous entry, has helped to launch a website for teenagers with cancer. The former British TV series "Neighbours" actress was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma in 2003.

She and other celebrities were recently beside the Thames River in London to release 180 balloons, representing the number of teenagers who are diagnosed with cancer every month.

She spoke about her own experience with lymphoma, saying: "I'm so lucky to be here still. It was definitely a huge learning experience for me. It was an extremely hard time."

Asked about the website, she said: "Anybody can go on the website, ask questions and meet other people who are going through it....You don't have to feel so alone." Source:
