People Honor Teacher with Bone Marrow Drive

A bone marrow drive will be taking place for a piano teacher:

"A bone marrow donor drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 4 at Heid Music, 2201 S. Oneida St.

Potential donors must be ages 18 to 60.

The drive is being held to increase the number of people listed on the regional donor registry. Staff from Community Blood Center of Appleton will conduct the screening.

Screening does not require participants to give a blood sample.

Even if a match is found, participants are not obligated to become a donor.

The drive is inspired by Fran Cohler, who is in remission from mantle cell lymphoma."
