Vatican radio broadcasts causing cancer in children
A 300 page report wiritten by Andrea Micheli, professor of cancer epidemiology at Milan's National Tumor Institute claims that there is an evident link between certain radio masts operated by Vatican Radio and the deaths of nineteen children between 1980 and 2003 from leukemia and lymphoma.
The children lived north of Rome in an area known as Cesano, and the masts in question are in nearby Santa Maria di Galeria.
The investigation was ordered by the court. In response, the Vatican has noted that there are other radio masts in the same area operated by the Italian Navy.
