About Me

Bio

I'm a dog lover & they love me, I have a Rotty/Ridgeback mix (color of ridgeback, built like Rotty. His name is Shakka & he has a splotch of black on his side, people think it's grease:) He's about 9 yrs old & was just diagnosed today w/ Lymphoma, just to find this out was over 450.00. The regime that is prescribed is a shot weekly along w/ predisone. I don't want him to be in pain, because I want him to live! My question is: He's had this "fatty syst,(BIG)on his chest for years now. They always assured us it was just a "fatty syst". We just spent over a 1000.00 on him last year. He walked like he couldn't control his rear. Had a hard time getting up, looked kinda "nuerological". But with Metacam (I think) he was doing great! Was that fatty syst lymphoma? It's going to cost us like 60.00 weekly & interval test. It is the best thing for a dog of his age, I do not want him to suffer for my selfishness! ASAP, please. I don't want to say goodbye, is it a bad thing not to see him before you know he's going to die? Please any advise, Sincerely, Theresa Naticchia, Sarsota, fl
