DLBC Lymphoma (Stage IV) survivor.
Last Chemo taken in June 2007.
I am no doctor but I can share how I coped with reactions and what I did after each Chemo infusion to ensure that I was ready on schedule for the next one.
I can also share what not to do. I almost died after the 6th Chemo because I got complacent.
Caught an infection (having foolishly visited hospital to accompany someone else) about a week after the last Chemo (around the time I had generally observed lowest blood counts!).
Spent a week in hospital with Neutrophil count alarmingly low.
After recovery and a PET-CT scan six weeks later, I decided not to take IFRT (Involved Field Radiation Therapy) against my treating doctor's advice due to a complexity of reasons which may or may not apply to others.
