About Me

Bio

My name is Cal, i'm 31 years old married with 4 beautiful kids. In March of 2008 I was diagnosed with difused large b cell lymphoma.I completed 8 rounds of chemo(r-chop) in September. Before my last chemo I was told there was also a mass on my left kidney that the doctors thought was part of my lymphoma, but did not respond to chemo. No biopsy was done because part of the mass was clear on the ct. So surgery was the only option. Dec 13 I had a radical nephrectomy to remove the mass which was diagnosed as stage IV renal cell carcinoma. I'm doing o.k. but worrying is the big issue for me. Two primary cancers but no pity party for myself. I am just more concerned for my family...all of my children are young and just to be with my wife and to watch my kids grow up-would be a blessing in itself.
