My mother-in-law was just diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoma. The doctor suggested Chemo. How do you know the right decision for treatment. She is scared to make her decision for treatment.

sorry to hear about your mom. making treatment decisions is very tough. here's a link to Mayo Clinic guide on general treatment decisions for cancer.

But that guide doesn't address specific cancers. Typically, in lymphomas, T-cell lymphomas have poorer prognoses than B-cell lymphomas and tend not to respond as well to chemotherapy; but this does not apply to all types of T-cell lymphoma, in fact chemotherapy can be curative for some forms or subtypes.

What is her specific diagnosis?

Another good resource-- perhaps the best-- for deciding about chemo is at the Journal of the American Medical Association's Cancer Chemotherapy page.
