My 20-year old brother has been fighting Burkitt's Lymphoma. His most recent scans show that it's spread to his lungs. The drs have recommended stopping chemo and keeping him "comfortable", but we have a meeting soon to discuss further options. Thoughts?

Burkitt's has the fastest doubling time of any tumor known in oncology. It's a very aggressive cancer, but for that reason, chemotherapy can be very effective. Yet if the doctors are talking about keeping him comfortable, it likely means they have exhausted known treatments and are giving him palliative care only. You should really seek out a multi-disciplinary second opinion.
