Well it depends, kind of, on whether the lymphoma began in the liver or spread to the liver. Generally, metastasized liver cancer is very serious and very difficult to treat. Localized liver cancer has a better survival rate. As for lymphoma of the liver, there are several subtypes of lymphoma that affect the liver and treatment as well as survival will depend on the subtype. To say it is not curable is probably inaccurate, but to say that it has a good prognosis, that isn't terribly accurate either.
