I have stage 4 small lymphocytic lymphoma and have just completed 4 cycles of chemo. consisting of CVP - R. Tests reveal that my cancer is not responding and my oncologist has put me on hold until a new chemo. regimen is decided on. Please comment.

Shelley...Has the doctor

Shelley...Has the doctor considered CHOP-R? I was diagnosed six years ago with stage 4 diffused small cell lymphocytic lymphoma. I was suppose to go through 9 treatments, but responded well after 6. Three years later I fell out of remission and then took Fludoribine (not sure of spelling) and Rituxan. For the past two years I've been on Rituxan every six months. I hope this helps and I wish you well.
