It all depends on the kind of lymphoma. Often times in the case of indolent, or slow-growing, lymphomas, people don't even know they have them until something, like maybe a swollen lymph node, alerts them to see a doctor, and they learn to their shock that they have an NHL that's in stage IV, because otherwise they look and feel OK, and they likely look OK to others as well.

society would like to be

society would like to be surprised at how the healthiest of us seem to look like 8 different kinds of hell and how the sickest of us tend to look just fine.

sometimes your body could be sick but your mind hasnt yet caught up with it, so your body thinks its okay and acts that way until it breaks down. or until your brain realzies your body is sick.

marylin monoe? she had a heart murmur, part of why she didnt survive. but she was beautiful wasnt she?

personally i think that if your body is looking normal, it means you are strong and will come out to be okay in the end.

thoughts and prayers are with you my dear.

peace, hope, strength, love, friendship.
