I'm not sure it would be
I'm not sure it would be harmful after diagnosis, although that's the kind of thing one's doctor/oncologist should be made aware of. I could see it being a problem after treatment has started in patients receiving chemo or radiation, since it sounds like CPAP can dry out the mouth, a problem that arises from chemo and radiation and would be exacerbated. There may be other issues to be concerned with as well, such as whether oxygen delivery is involved in CPAP, since that might be problematic with some chemo drugs. In all, the oncology team should make the decision on this.
