In a nutshell, Hodgkin's

In a nutshell, Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) is characterized by what's called a Reed-Sternberg cell, a rather specific type of cancer cell that only appears in Hodgkin's. HL is also considerably more rare than non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL), and its symptoms are more obvious. HL is also highly treatable and often curable, whereas that's not true for NHLs. Finally, there are six subtypes of HL, whereas there are maybe 40 subtypes of NHL.

The only thing all of them share in common is that they are cancers that arise in the lymph system. Otherwise, they are all separate and different diseases from one another.
