About 15,000 people
About 15,000 people experience superior vena cava (SVC) syndrome each year, but only 15% of those patients have non-Hodgkins lymphoma (people with Hodgkins almost never experience SVC). While I wasn't able to find direct stats about survival rates among people with NHL who experience SVC, it's considered an oncologic emergency and generally if caught in time is treatable with a variety of therapies.
