Mucosis fungoides.. has anyone been diagnosed with this? My dad was misdiagnosed at first and when through CHOP chemotherapy and radiaion and now the cancer has spread and my be in its later stages. Does anyone have experience with this cancer?

So he was misdiagnosed with another subtype of lymphoma, went through both CHOP and radiation only to learn he has MF? That is horrible, absolutely horrible, esp considering that standard treatment guidelines for MF do not include any of the chemo drugs in CHOP, the delivery is often very different (less invasive), and is MF highly treatable in early stages.

It's not considered to be curable. However, even in stage IV the cancer is treatable. People with MF are at a higher risk for developing other lymphomas down the road than the general public.

What was his original dx?

he was diagnosed with CTCL -

he was diagnosed with CTCL - Cutaneous TCell Lymphoma anaplastic.
