LDH levels are used in determining the prognosis of b-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (in the R-IPI for example) and sometimes in determining the prognosis of multiple myeloma, but while CBCs are part of the work-up in evaluating lymphoma patients, I don't know of a role that LDH levels play specifically in the diagnosis of a recurrent form of Hodgkin's.
