Is it normal to feel stomach pain around the belly button area when taking ABVD for Hodgkin's? It really didn't start until the 6th treatment of 12 (just completed the 7th one)Prior to this there was bloating/gassy feelings.( Hodgkin's is in chest)

While that kind of stomach

While that kind of stomach pain can't be found as one of the common side effects of ABVD, I don't think that means your pain can be discounted. It's possible that your GI tract is reacting to the chemotherapy regimen, but if I were you I wouldn't hesitate-- I would mention the pain to my oncology or oncology team immediately.

I spoke to her chemo nurse

I spoke to her chemo nurse and she said that the pain is quite common with the treatment. She is starting to feel better today. Hopefully the next five treatments won't be too difficult. She will be finished chemo then. We are praying that all goes well when she has her scan in early Dec which will be at the time she is due for her 9th treatment.
Thanks

You did the right thing, and

You did the right thing, and I hope all works out for the best. I am not familiar with the side effect of pain around the belly button but that is why they are the health professionals and should always be consulted and I'm not. Again I'm so glad you spoke to them and I hope the remaining treatments aren't too tough on her. Best of luck ...
