How long can my Mom survive? She is 85 advanced stage 4 lymphoma. One session of chemo nearly killed her. She is on only on steroids now.

My Mom walked into hospital

My Mom walked into hospital 10 wks ago brain perfect and is now confused and bedridden.I have suggested palliative care now as she cannot have any more chemo.Docs seem reluctant to give any outlook but I only want her to have the best care and comfort for her. Has anyone any experience of this?

Doctor's are reluctant to

Doctor's are reluctant to give a prognosis because each individual is different. You may want to contact a Hospice Center near you. They can help with home care or some do have facilities with beds available for patients. Please note that Hospice is not just for those who are about to die. They have many services available to families.
I am sorry to hear about your mother, I know it is a very stressful time. I have had to go through it with my Mom and my Mother in Law. She is lucky to have a child that wants the very best for her.
