yes it is at stage iv. the cinsultant told me no operation or no treatment possible. he is 82 yrs old and on the 9th April was given only three weeks he has exceeded that by two extra weeks. At the moment he is pottering about and eating soft foods
If the lymphoma gets through the wall of his stomach, and it affects the lymph nodes in that part of the body, his chances of survival go down pretty significantly. However, treatment- in the form of surgery to remove part of his stomach, can in some cases mean chances of survival reach 90%, depending on a few matters.
Does your father suffer from ulcers? If so, there's the possibility of an infection known as Helicobacter pylori, which, when treated with basic antibiotics, has actually shown in some cases to put the lymphoma into regression.

my father was diagnosed with this cancer recently , what are his chances of survival without treatment?
Do you know what stage he was diagnosed with?
