there is a perceived
there is a perceived relationship between dilantin and the development of some so-called Hemopoietic system complications--- in other words, diseases like lymphomas, including Hodgkin's, lymphadenopathy, and bone marrow problems, but these are believed to arise as possible adverse reactions to taking dilantin.
After reading through the entry on dilantin the PDR, I don't see any mention of the drug, NHL, and a coma, but there are lots of contra-indications and lots of potential issues involved with taking dilantin. You should ask a doctor and a pharmacist, and when you do, make sure to mention all the other medications that are being taken.
