Yes. Neither a complete blood count nor a complete metabolic panel actually test for lymphoma, and none of the tests, by themselves, would give doctors an indication that there might be a problem beyond perhaps the LDH levels or the Sed Rate, but in those instances they would probably want to see something during one's exam to give them further reason to suspect lymphoma-- such as B symptoms or swollen nodes.
