Does anyone know if there is a link between asbestos exposure and lymphoma?
Hey.... I have been wondering
Hey.... I have been wondering the same thing... I haven't found anything just yet.. let me know if you come across any information.... The only thing that I came across of is that NON-Hodgkin lymphoma "IS" linked with asbestos. There is a lawyer that has a case open in Texas (sorry I do not have the name or number) I called the 1800# that was on a commercial. They are offering this to anyone doesn't matter what state your in either!!! You just have to do blood work and fill out some paperwork, then send it back to them-they provide everything including postage!

There's a blog entry out there on this, posted by some legal group, I would avoid that, as far as being at all authoritative. The reason I say this is because they will not be able to prove that any one person's lymphoma came as a result of asbestos. Like so many other potential cancer lawsuits, it'll come down to what can be proven, and in the case of asbestos, mesothelioma is about it right now. There are plenty of reliable publications that find a link between some lymphomas and commercial products like insecticides etc, but again, not even these have been proven in a court of law.
My husband has non hodgkins
My husband has non hodgkins follicular lymphoma, and also nodules in the lungs caused by asbestos exposure. Never heard of a connection before, bvut it is certainly inte3resting!
