Unfortunately it's too hard to say based on the information provided. Non-Hodgkin lymphomas are divided into B-cell lymphomas and T-cell lymphomas, but within those groups there are many subtypes. The most common form of NHL is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). If your father was diagnosed as stage I or stage II, his prognosis is probably pretty good; it becomes less good if he was diagnosed in stage III or stage IV. Still, DLBCL is considered a 'curable' cancer, although that is not always the case. It also matters what kind of health your father is in; the better health, the better his prognosis.
