my 3 year old son has had the symptoms of lymphoma for approx a year now. he has a weak immune system for which he takes antibiotics daily and has had active EBV in his blood in varying levels for the last 2 years. should he have a biopsy?

Well only a doctor can determine that, and it seems like he should be in to see one as soon as possible, but they would likely only biopsy a node that was palpably swollen and painless, or one, via a CT scan or other method, they determined might have cancerous involvement. What has his doctor said about the presence of these symptoms as well as the EBV?
