Do you mean that you had fine needle aspiration performed on one of the lymph nodes?

A PET/CT scan or possibly an X-ray are the tests that could indicate lymphoma. It is not uncommon to be symptom-free in the early stages of lymphoma.

Hi Ross,

That's right. I had got fine needle aspiration done a couple of times and each time it indicated a reactive node.

Now I have also got some nodes in neck area and one in the collar bone.

I also have severe itching in complete neck area. Something that feels deep in the skin but does not go away. This itching has been for more than 2 years and keeps on going and coming back.

In case it is early stage for lymphoma, is it possible to have swollen lymph nodes in more than one area in the early stages.

Doctors have suggested wait and watch approach but I am very concerned because of family history and the swelling spreading into other areas.
