Well I think you should have them checked out regardless. If you have 'always' been able to feel them, that's one thing, but if you have concerns you ought to have a doctor check them out. Swollen lymph nodes (how swollen they are is not as important as whether or not they are swollen) that are painful to the touch generally indicate an infection, while nodes that are swollen and are NOT painful may indicate something like lymphoma.
