Lymphomas aren't diagnosed
Lymphomas aren't diagnosed with either blood work or chest x-rays, although these tests often are part of a post-diagnosis work-up. In other words, I think the answer to your first question is ... yes maybe. Still, there are about 65 subtypes of lymphoma, and it's not possible to speak for them all.
Your second question ... that's impossible to say. Seems unlikely. I know that some people regard biopsies as having the ability to spread the cancer in the way you suggest but even if some loose cancer cells were to slip into the bloodstream this is no certainty that the cell will have the ability to seed itself in a distant location and begin metastasis.
