Can anyone share about their experiences with a false PETCT scan and what their largest false SUV was from that scan?

I was treated and considered

I was treated and considered in remission from DLBCL (2 yrs in September). Currently, I am having an issue with a somewhat high suv (above 8) in multiple lymph nodes in my neck region. My oncologist believes that it is due to sinus infections that I have been having. He also told me that PETCT scans are having more and more false reads. I am currently working with an ent to clear up the sinus issues and am due for another PETCT on the 15th. It would really be helpful if anyone else could share some information regarding this topic. I can't imagine that no one else has had this problem if the PETCT scans are becoming that unreliable. Thank you for any insight you can offer.
