It is okay to have sex but it is important to use protection. Experts say that getting pregnant during chemo is not advisable. This is the case if either the man or woman is on chemo. The thought is that the drugs could harm the baby. Chemo could have some other effects that may not put you in the mood but if you practice safe sex then you are good to go.

The UK Cancer research site advises against not using a condom during chemo as it's possible for the chemo drugs to be in bodily fluids.
