father has stage 4 non-hodgkins. He has bad drenching sweats during the day. Any suggestions for help .

is he taking chemo now,,, and what is his monocytes

My 95 year old father is suffering from NHL. His WBC is now up to 39. He has just finished the Etopside treatment and has had the Rituxan treatments. Dr. recommends no more chemo. Will we see the WBC just continue to climb at a faster rate and what will this lead to?
