My daughter is also 3 years

My daughter is also 3 years out of non-hodkins. I think my daughter should have been in counseling this entire time. I've seen her go through stages that she is not even sure about. I think professional help might help them through this. Not only are they faced with getting cancer again, but also at the point of facing the rest of their lives.

I am now 43 years old, I had

I am now 43 years old, I had Hodgkin's at age 14 and NHL at age 27. It is an unfortunate "side effect" of cancer survival that we are forced to be a bit of a hypochondriac, although you want to think positive and live your life to it's fullest, you can't afford to ignore little symptoms...for most people, its absurd to fear 'brain tumor' with every headache, but for a survivor it's something you are forced to consider. It's a difficult place to be. But counseling can be helpful. It's very hard for loved ones to understand, but other survivors will 'get it' right away so support groups are helpful. Mostly she will need to put her trust in God and she will eventually find the delicate balance between worrying too much and living her life to the fullest. God luck to you both! Will keep you in my prayers!
