You mean after you're being treated for a lymphoma? You should be able to maintain that relationship during and after your treatment, provided you have the physical strength. Lymphoma treatments often leave people immuno-compromised for a short time, but there's nothing your dog can give you that can affect that, and nothing you can give your dog either.
