"Spartacus" star diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma

The Associated Press is reporting that 38 year old British actor Andy Whitfield, star of the Starz Original series "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Production on the show will halt while Whitfield begins treatment.
No word on subtype, but the Starz network tells AP that the cancer "was detected in its early stages and is 'very treatable.'
