Oklahoma Sooners football player diagnosed with Hodgkin's

News coming out of Norman, Oklahoma is that the Oklahoma Sooners' starting center Austin Woods has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Woods, a junior, has already begun undergoing chemotherapy at the OU Stephenson Cancer Center.

His disease has been diagnosed as stage III. As support has poured in from the Sooner community and beyond, Woods has been tweeting occasional messages about how he's doing, including "Fighter's mentality, Round 1" and "Strong and positive attitude."

His prognosis has not been made public, nor has his treatment regimen. The picture accompanying this news item is from Woods' Facebook page, and says a lot about his attitude.
