On April 16 conservative and controversial radio personality Rush Limbaugh began his own brief, three hour annual fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) with a substantial $400,000 cash donation.

2010 marks the 20th year that Limbaugh has hosted a fundraiser on his radio show in conjunction with the LLS. All told, according to Limbaugh's official website, the show has raised over $25 million.

Limbaugh himself has personally donated a figure likely totaling in the millions of dollars to the LLS over the years; he is typically listed in the organization's annual reports as a Benefactor, meaning his donation ranges from $100,000 up to $499,999.
