An organization raises money for research to fight pediatric cancers:

"“12 Bands of Christmas” is an organization that's been raising money to fight pediatric cancer for more than a decade. 26 News is a proud sponsor of their annual concert Saturday night. Liz Hill shares the story of an Augusta family who lives were changed by the organization.

Kriston Chandler: "His diagnosis is T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma." Those are the three words that rocked the Chandler family's world. Kriston's youngest son, William, had been diagnosed with cancer at the age of 2.

“Just almost panic, disbelief, complete disbelief,” says Kriston when asked about hearing the news. “I think in the back of my mind I kept thinking, he's going to fine. This isn't happening." What started off as labored breathing, a slight cough and night sweats turned into every parent's worst nightmare. "
