Hello. I am new on here too.
Hello. I am new on here too. My husband was diagnosed with HL (2B also) just over 2 years ago at age 29. After two different types of chemo (including ABVD) followed by high dose chemo/autologus stem cell transplant and radiation, we thought he was finally in remission. 19 months after his transplant, it seems as if he has relapsed.
We are waiting for the results of his bone marrow biopsy and latest PET scan to determine the extent of the relapse, however, I am also looking for anyone who has had experience with relapsed HL.
The last two years have been quite difficult, filled with highs and many lows. However, I do believe that our marriage and relationship is even stronger, even throughout the stress.
My words of wisdom from someone who has been through it (not the treatments, of course, but the rest of the stress) is to take one day at a time. Some days you'll feel great, some days will stretch on forever. Try to enjoy each moment and take advantage of the help that friends and family offer. They just want a way to help too.
I look forward to any input folks on here have. Best wishes to all reading this note. Happy Holidays and again... take each day for what it is.
Shana
