Introducing myself

Hi,

I had Hodgkin Lymphoma 3 times between August 2002 and November 2006 when, after 3 different types of chemo (ABVD, ChlVPP and another which I have actually managed to forget...) and radiotherapy I had a stem cell transplant. A PET scan in April 2007 confirmed that I was in complete remission. I am finding this April slightly strange as 2 years is the longest I've gone without relapse and I feel anxious. I know I should simply be enjoying my healthy state and, most of the time, I am, but I also feel scared. Just here to share thoughts, provide a perspective from someone with a great deal of experience and give any support I can to people going through these things now.

Since the early 1970s, incidence rates for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma have nearly doubled. Improved diagnosis has contributed greatly to the increase as doctors better understand cancer of lymphocytes and can distinguish it from other diseases.
