Medical Standard For Remission Check Ups

Are there standardized medical guidelines on the frequency of check-ups and type of tests for each type of Non Hodgkins Lymphoma when a patient is in remission? Does it matter at what stage the cancer was at onset or the age of the patient?
Hi There. I have only been in remission for over 6 months but I have been put on a 3 month checkup schedule for the next 2 years. After that, if everything is ok (cross my fingers) I go to a once every 6 month schedule. I tried looking for the same kind of information after my treatment. This type of schedule seemed standard for some cancers but i also could not find any information on Stages. It seems to me that the higher the Stage the less the time in between checkups. Right? I could be wrong.
