This is a very treatable disease. I was diagnosed with stage III in March and I have undergone 9 treatments. My 3 month PET scan was negative. After the first treatment, my lymph nodes in my neck had already gone down. I have a caringbridge blog if you would like to read more. www.caringbridge.org/visit/melodyk

I was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkins in May. My bone marrow scan was negative. Currently undergoing chemo. It's a very treatable disease. I've had some definite symptomatic improvement and after 2 rounds (four treatments) of chemo I will undergo a repeate PET scan next week to check progress. I hope to see a significant reduction in activity in the tumor.
