Any good DR's in GA?

My step dad was admitted to the hospital almost a month ago due to fluid on his lungs. Prior to that he had been pretty much healthy, at least active, still working and plenty of energy.
Tons of test were performed in the hospital, but nothing was found. After having some fluid drained he was sent home and later sent for a PET scan...which found cancer in his lymph nodes. Further blood testing diagnosed him with CLL and the DR also said he has SLL. This is all new, and the beginnings of all this. he was completely himself about a month ago, now today he is weak, no energy, anemic, very pale looking, losing weight every day and really unsure where to go from here. The Oncologist he is currently with (only one he's been to) is not very open about what he wants to do, and not very good at explaining all the details. He will not discuss any alternative treatments (like nutrition, or herbs) to go along with conventional treatments. He wants to go ahead and put him on a low dose chemo...although this might be the right thing to do, we aren't sure...and I also think it's important to have a DR who will discuss herbs...just be able to answer the basics like "is spirulina safe to take with chemo?". Today I found Winship Cancer Center at Emory...and hope to get him in there for a 2nd opinion before moving ahead. Can anyone here recommend a DR at Winship? What about an Oncologist near Cumming, GA? Any help would be appreciated. It would even be nice to know what we should be looking for...what questions to ask.... for instance he is anemic...and was sent to the hospital for blood work, but next appt is in 2 weeks. Are they just not supposed to do anything about the anemia until its discussed at the next appt?
Please if you know of a dr that you love, let me know...we would really appreciate it.
Also, we have all his records...are there any major things we should look at in these reports?
Thanks!

Since the early 1970s, incidence rates for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma have nearly doubled. Improved diagnosis has contributed greatly to the increase as doctors better understand cancer of lymphocytes and can distinguish it from other diseases.
