How good are CT Scans

I have been worried about a lump on my neck and I finally got a CT scan and the doc said everything was all good. Is that really it? Is this normal? Should I request a biopsy or go see another doctor. If the CT is very accurate then I shouldn't be worried but I can't help worry. Sorry for all the questions.
