Hi all. I went in for a CT Scan of my chest recently and just got the results back the other day. Apparently a few of the lymph nodes in my mediastinal area are swollen. My doctor said that in the worst case scenario, that indicates lymphoma, but mentioned that it could also be an infection or some other ailment taking place. What are the odds that it is lymphoma? I am going in for a biopsy today, so I guess I'll know soon, but was just wondering. I looked up the symptoms for a few kinds of lymphoma, Hodgkin's and non, and other than coughing, I don't seem to have any of the symptoms, lymph nodes aside. What is especially weird is that I've had post nasal drip this entire time, which I originally thought was the cause of my cough, as did my doctor. Can lymphoma cause an increase in the mucus in your system or is that more indicative of an infection?
