Seattle Position Open for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Campaign Coordinator – Washington / Alaska Chapter

The Washington/Alaska Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is looking for a highly organized and dynamic individual to implement and execute our 2010 Leukemia Cup Regatta / AquaQuest Power Boat Campaign, and other select fundraising and volunteer projects at the chapter.

Assigned duties and Responsibilities include:

•Formulate, direct and implement, all aspects of the Leukemia Cup Regatta and AquaQuest Programs.

•Identify and build relationships with the sailing and power boating communities as an integral part of prospect development and engagement of the Society's revenue generating activities.

• Help recruit and conduct event related kick-offs and presentations at local yacht clubs as applicable.

•Develop, direct and manage volunteer leadership, committees, and corporate sponsorship.

•Ensure growth through implementation of key fundraising elements to maximize expansion of core markets.

•Manage budget and control expenses to effectively meet and exceed income goals.

•Develop recruitment & retention plans with timelines to ensure implementation.

•Support and maintain a working knowledge of the mission of LLS and its programs.

•Perform other related duties as assigned.

The highly organized individual we seek will have the following:

•Bachelor's Degree
•2+ years fundraising, sales experience
•Outstanding relationship management skills.
•Able to work independently and collaboratively with a variety of personalities and leadership styles
•Professional demeanor
•Strong word processing and database management skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
